HHM conducted a comprehensive survey of pre-1945 historic resources in South and East Dallas, Texas. The study was part of the City's multi-phase effort to identify, document, and assess historic resources and to provide the basis for ongoing local preservation efforts. Abstract
In 1991, HHM began the second phase of a three phase project to examine all extant historic properties in the city of Palestine built before 1945. During field investigations, 1,403 historic resources were recorded, resulting in 363 NRHP eligible resources. Materials produced for Phase II include black-and-white photographs for all sites, and color slides, interim survey forms and historical data for all HIGH and some MEDIUM priority properties.

HHM conducted an installation-wide historic resources survey following the decision to close NAS Chase Field in accordance with the recommendations of the BRAC Commission. HHM identified, documented, and assessed 30 pre-1950 buildings on the base. Following consultations with the Texas SHPO, seven of the buildings were determined eligible for the NRHP.
