Project# 0092.070 Historic Resources Survey of Huntsville, TX, 1992

HHM conducted a comprehensive survey of all buildings, structures and objects in Huntsville, Texas, that were built before 1945. HHM field crew began the project with a systematic street-by-street examination of the entire city. As each historic resource was identified, field crew members photographed the building, noted its address and salient physical features, and plotted its location on project maps. Historians conducted limited research on those resources considered to be the most significant and completed THC survey forms. The survey identified 1,346 resources and classified them into HIGH, MEDIUM, and LOW preservation priority categories.
