Project# 0090.040 Historic Resources Survey of Dallas, Phase 4a: Historic Resources Survey of East and South Dallas, TX, 1990 - 1991

HHM conducted a comprehensive survey of pre-1945 historic resources in South and East Dallas, Texas. The study was part of the City's multi-phase effort to identify, document, and assess historic resources and to provide the basis for ongoing local preservation efforts. Due to funding limitations, the project was divided into two parts. During this initial, the City directed HHM to identify as many resources as possible within the THC-approved budget. HHM surveyed 4,053 historic resources in the project areas and classified them into HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW preservation priority categories. Areas not surveyed were targeted for a follow-up phase, which was conducted during the next fiscal year.
