Project# 0092.100 Historic Resources Survey of Naval Air Station Chase Field, TX, 1992

HHM conducted an installation-wide historic resources survey following the decision to close NAS Chase Field in accordance with the recommendations of the BRAC Commission. HHM identified, documented, and assessed 30 pre-1950 buildings on the base. Following consultations with the Texas SHPO, seven of the buildings were determined eligible for the NRHP. Survey work products included a survey report, black-and-white photographs, color slides, and THC survey forms. The results of the survey were integrated into an Environmental Impact Statement prepared in compliance with NEPA requirements.
