Project# 0090.060 Corsicana National Register Multiple Resource Nomination, Corsicana, TX, 1989 - 1991

As the third and final phase of work for the City of Corsicana, HHM prepared a multiple-property nomination that included a detailed historic context analyzing the growth and development of the city, associated property types that are tangible links to the trends and events outlined in the context, and registration requirements that describe the conditions that must be met for properties to nominated to the National Register under the umbrella of the multiple-property nomination. HHM also prepared National Register nominations for the historic downtown and two residential districts, with a combined total of 539 contributing elements. The multiple-property nomination and three historic districts were accepted by the THC, State Board of Review, and National Park Service.
