Abstract
In 1995, HHM under contract to the City of Tyler, conducted a comprehensive inventory of buildings, structures, objects and sites in Tyler, Texas built prior to 1946. This report summarizes the survey process and identifies the properties most likely to be eligible for listing on the NRHP, as well as for state and local designations. In 1996, HHM under contract to the City of Tyler, completed the second phase of a multi-phase project to inventory all pre-1947 buildings, structures, objects and sites. This report describes the process of identification, documentation and evaluations of the surveyed historic resources and identifies those most likely to be eligible for listing in the NRHP, as well as state and local designations.
