Abstract Consideration of historic zoning laws by the Dripping Springs City Council necessitated a historic survey of all pre-1945 resources within the city. Abstract In support of the City’s participation in the Main Street Program, HHM completed a historic resources survey of the central business district in Henderson, Texas. HHM documented 108 pre-1945 historic resources in the downtown area. Abstract For the second and final part of the South and East Dallas, HHM surveyed 1,499 pre-1945 historic resources and integrated these results with the initial survey of these areas of Dallas. Abstract

In 1991, HHM began the second phase of a three phase project to examine all extant historic properties in the city of Palestine built before 1945. During field investigations, 1,403 historic resources were recorded, resulting in 363 NRHP eligible resources. Materials produced for Phase II include black-and-white photographs for all sites, and color slides, interim survey forms and historical data for all HIGH and some MEDIUM priority properties.
