The twelve binders that comprise the digital collection are part of the series "Violence in Guatemala," and contain 4,619 newspaper clippings and documents arranged chronologically. The news articles illustrate the different types of violence prevailing in Guatemala between 1978 and 1981: political violence, violence during the internal armed conflict, and common violence.
