Abstract HHM conducted a HABS-like Documentation of the Tips Warehouse in downtown Austin, Texas. Company Warehouse is a two-story brick and concrete building at 200 West Second Street (also 200 Colorado Street) and encompasses the entire southern half of City Block 20. Abstract HHM conducted an intensive architectural survey of the East 11th and 12th Street Commercial Corridors in Austin, Texas. The firm also researched primary and secondary source materials and developed an historic context that examined the major themes related to the development of East Austin. Abstract

As a sub-consultant to Wilber Smith Associates, HHM conducted a historic resource survey of the project area. The field survey identified a total of 25 resources constructed in 1953 or earlier within the project’s Area of Potential Effect (APE). Of these 25 resources, 8 were recommended eligible for listing in the NRHP. The project was completed in 5 months.

Abstract

HHM completed historical and architectural investigations in compliance with a Programmatic Agreement developed for the transfer of Bergstrom Air Force Base from the U.S. Air Force to the City of Austin. HHM staff identified and gathered information on 79 historic resources within the APE, and 4 were recommended to be eligible for listing in the NRHP. An additional 15 resources were contributing elements in 2 NRHP-eligible historic districts.

Abstract In 1996 HHM prepared a NRHP nomination form for the Moore’s Crossing Historic District, located in southeastern Travis County. The district, roughly bounded by FM 973, old Burleson Rd. and Onion Cr., contains 15 buildings and four structures on 108 acres.
