Description

Perry Mansion (Terlingua, Tex.). Terlingua was the site of the Chisos Mining Company, a major producer of mercury in early twentieth century. The Perry Mansion is a part of Terlingua's historic district.

Photographed by Gerald Moorhead during research for the "Buildings of Texas: East, North Central, Panhandle and South Plains, and West" manuscript. The original 35mm slide was created in 2003 and digitized in 2015.

General Note

Moorhead’s naming convention for files and subdirectories includes a reference to a region (W or West), a tour (FV or FA for Fort Stockton to Valentine or Alpine), and a city (Terlingua).
