Series C: Photography, 1971-2017, undated

Series C includes photographic content created by Gerald Moorhead (unless otherwise noted) for the Buildings of Texas publication. Physical records include 35mm color slides, 4x5 negatives, 4x5 photographic prints, and 4x5 transparencies. Digital records include digitized images of photographic materials and born-digital images, both of which are predominantly in .tif format, with some being in .jpg, and .cr2 formats. The photographic materials contained in this series include items that were used in both books, as well as some that did not make it into the publication. Moorhead shot images for the first volume, Buildings of Texas: Central, South, and Gulf Coast, entirely on film. Photographs from the second volume, Buildings of Texas: East, North Central, Panhandle and South Plains, and West, include film, as well as digitized and born-digital images. Photographic materials are represented in multiple formats, including slides, prints, transparencies, negatives, and digitized and born-digital images. In some cases, the same image might be represented in multiple formats.

The dates for the physical materials are taken from dates on those materials. The dates for the digital materials refer to the “File Modification Date/Time” and were ascertained by looking at the XMP data for the images.
