Documents, flyers, pamphlets, journals, magazines, articles, and ephemera related to leftist political movements in Brazil during the 1970s and 1980s. The materials cover a large number of varying size movements, including the Partido de Trabalhadores (PT) and the Partido Comunista do Brasil (PCdoB). Many of the materials were "internal" in nature, providing a glimpse into the innerworkings, motivations, and happenings of the different political movements.

This collection of documents, collected and compiled by Jonathan Brown, contains archival materials and previously classified correspondence from numerous institutional and presidential archives and libraries concerning Latin American history and politics.
