This collection contains materials transferred from the University of Miami’s Cuban Heritage Collection Cuban Exile Materials. It contains a combination of materials including books, magazines, journals, newspapers, bulletins, pamphlets, and other printed materials ranging from 1940 to 2015.

Documents, flyers, pamphlets, journals, magazines, articles, and ephemera related to leftist political movements in Brazil during the 1970s and 1980s. The materials cover a large number of varying size movements, including the Partido de Trabalhadores (PT) and the Partido Comunista do Brasil (PCdoB). Many of the materials were "internal" in nature, providing a glimpse into the innerworkings, motivations, and happenings of the different political movements.

This collection consists of Cordéis and woodcut prints from Brazil and includes over twenty pamphlets and nearly one hundred woodcut prints from between the years 1986-2014. The works of illustrators such as José Francisco Borges and Abraão Batista are represented on both the Cordéis and the woodcut prints.

This artificial collection describes various individual publications or small groups of printed material that have been accessioned into the Benson Latin American Collection over the years.

This collection documents Guatemala through the country's civil war and aftermath. The collection mainly concerns human rights, violence, politics, and indigenous culture.
