This collection contains materials transferred from the University of Miami’s Cuban Heritage Collection Cuban Exile Materials. It contains a combination of materials including books, magazines, journals, newspapers, bulletins, pamphlets, and other printed materials ranging from 1940 to 2015.

Documents, flyers, pamphlets, journals, magazines, articles, and ephemera related to leftist political movements in Brazil during the 1970s and 1980s. The materials cover a large number of varying size movements, including the Partido de Trabalhadores (PT) and the Partido Comunista do Brasil (PCdoB). Many of the materials were "internal" in nature, providing a glimpse into the innerworkings, motivations, and happenings of the different political movements.

John Covert Watson (1929-) was a noted architect known for his organic architecture-inspired residences in Texas and New Mexico. This collection includes drawings and papers created and collected during his architectural career, largely from the 1960s through the 2020s, with some material from the 1930s. Record types include drawings, magazines, and a book.
