Marques de Aguayo's representatives at Monclova petition for a grant of land. Before granting the land, thirty notices, one each day, are published asking anyone having a better claim to the land to come forth and present it. The grant included 24 sitios of land at the places known as La Joya, San Bernave, Salada, and Ojo Caliente in Coahila. These are copies of titles to the land, 1716, November 19, to 1818, July 29:

Captain Pedro Valdez obtains ten day's water rights and the corresponding lands at Las Adjuntas. Confirmation of grant was made in favor of his heirs in 1745. In 1756 the heirs sold it to D. Melchor de los Santos Barrera. In 1761 D. Melchor de los Santos Barrera donated it to the church. In 1770 the church sold it to D. Manuel Francisco Sanchez Navarro. Santiago de Monclova. Domingo de Oyos receives a grant of land. in 1749, Bernardo de Hoyos transfers this land to his son Domingo de Hoyos. In 1756, the Marques de las Amarillas confirmed this grant in favor of Domingo de Hoyos, and the land was surveyed. In 1769, Dona Francisca Garzia de Rivero, Domingo de Hoyos, widow, sold the land to Dn. Joseph Xptoval Sanchez Navarro, 1727, May 19, to 1769, November 8:
