Abstract

HHM conducted an update to earlier surveys of the West Guthrie Townsite of the Guthrie Historic District. The project scope included review of the existing survey inventory, black-and-white photography and intensive-level descriptive physical documentation of all resources within the survey area, and evaluation of all resources for NRHP eligibility. A total of 309 resources were surveyed. The survey update was submitted to the City of Guthrie and was accepted by the Oklahoma SHPO.

Abstract

As a sub-consultant to Wilber Smith Associates, HHM conducted a historic resource survey of the project area. The field survey identified a total of 25 resources constructed in 1953 or earlier within the project’s Area of Potential Effect (APE). Of these 25 resources, 8 were recommended eligible for listing in the NRHP. The project was completed in 5 months.
