Project# 0117.01 Buena Vista Heights: Kisner Heights / Buena Vista Heights Historic District, Enid, OK, 2000

The project involved an intensive-level architectural and historical survey of the Buena Vista Heights Addition and portions of the Lamerton Terrace Addition for the City of Enid, Oklahoma. The scope of work involved: 1) surveying and photographing all built resources within the project area; 2) researching the history of the neighborhood and the individual properties; 3) evaluating the significance of each property within the overall context of Enid's development; and 4) compiling the survey and research results into a final report. During the survey, 43 properties were recorded. Of these, 33 were found to contribute to the significance of the proposed Kisner Heights/ Buena Vista Heights historic district.
