Abstract An intensive survey and multiple property National Register nomination were the products of HHM's 1986 study. The survey phase of the project identified 1,744 buildings, structures, and sites built prior to 1935. Each identified property was evaluated for architectural significance and association with significant historic contexts and assigned a "high," "medium," or "low" preservation priority.
