Mexican American arts

This collection documents María Elena Martínez's involvement in Mexican American politics and culture, bilingual education, Chicano studies, and indigenous organizations. It also documents her interest in the politics of Central American countries and Cuba.

Collection of original Mexican American silkscreens, lithographs, and other art prints. Many prints were produced at Self-Help Graphics studio in Los Angeles, California and Coronado Studios in Austin, Texas.
