This collection includes materials related to the research, writing and publication of the book Las Tejanas(2003). It contains extensive biographical, topical, and audio-visual materials collected during the research and writing of the book, correspondence and documentation of Acosta and Winegarten's collaboration and writing process, and materials related to the publication of the book.

The Anthony Alofsin Archive consists of manuscripts, printed materials, drawings, photographic materials, artifacts and born-digital records that document Alofsin's career as a scholar, professor and an architect alongside his creative and personal life.

The Hugh McMath papers include textual and photographic material primarily documenting his 44-year teaching career in the School of Architecture at The University of Texas at Austin. He held a deep interest in the art and architecture of Mexico and developed courses in pre-Hispanic and Colonial architecture of Mexico and published several monographs on the subject. Record types include photographs, correspondence, student work, writings, and faculty papers.

James E. Flanders was one of Dallas' earliest architects who was instrumental in shaping the city’s direction and style of architecture. This collection contains material on Flanders, assembled by Jim Willis while conducting research for a website entitled James Edward Flanders; Dallas's First Architect. Records include Willis' correspondence and clippings, copies of historic documents, small historical publications, drawings, and photos about Flanders and his work.

Images taken by Texas photographer Mary Ann Smothers Bruni document the traditional festival "Los Pastores" as performed in San Antonio. Also includes photographs documenting the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and the Cathedral of San Fernando in San Antonio.

Pen-and-ink drawings, photographs, slides, and negatives of Mexican colonial hacienda buildings, 1940-1973, by author, artist, and photographer Paul Alexander Bartlett.

Philip Douglas Creer (1903-1993), educated in Pennsylvania, was head of the Department of Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design for twenty-three years before serving as dean of the School of Architecture at The University of Texas at Austin from 1956 to 1967. The collection contains Creer’s personal, professional, and faculty papers. Record types include architectural drawings, photographs, correspondence, and project records.

Richard Louis Cleary (1951-) is an architectural historian known for his work on Frank Lloyd Wright and French architecture from the ancien régime. The collection contains papers created during his academic career. Record types include notes, drafts, reference materials, course materials, media, photos, and slides.
