Belize

Beginning in the late 1950s, architect George F. Andrews and his wife Geraldine spent over forty years visiting and studying the Yucatán and its Mayan culture and architecture. The collection includes papers, architectural drawings, and photographs documenting the region.

Photographs documenting the African Diaspora in Mexico, Central and South America by American photographer Tony Gleaton. Twenty-four of Gleaton's photographs were exhibited at LLILAS Benson as Tengo Casi 500 Años: Africa's Legacy in Mexico, Central and South America in February-April 2013.
