Saltillo. Statement of the agent of Sr. D. Jacobo Sanches Navarro showing amount of income to date on "all his property" in and around Saltill. Values assigned to the property of the Srs. Quirino Benavente at Patos concerning a disease iminent in the wheat crop, advising that only 50 bushels of wheat be sent to Andres de la Fonente until payment is sure; refers to a charge in which a hanging was averted only by paying 300 pesos of the 900 pesos due; advises no delay in paying taxes. In the postcript he refers to the death of three mutual acquaintances and agrees to the dismissal of 200 goatsherds, 1851, April 26:
