Project# 0096.020 HABS Documentation of NRHP-Eligible Resources at Naval Air Station Kingsville, TX, 1996 - 1997

HHM staff routinely photographically document properties at naval activities as part of NRHP eligibility surveys and ICRMPs using 35mm film cameras and digital format cameras. At other times, the Navy has tasked HHM with photographing NRHP-eligible buildings and structures at various activities as part of mitigative documentation packages. Depending on the SHPO requirements, HHM has used both large-format (4" x 5" negative) and 35mm formats. In 1997, HHM photographically documented four NRHP-eligible properties at NAS Kingsville as part of a HABS level II documentation project. The photographs, along with historical and architectural information and photographic copies of original architectural plans, were submitted to, and subsequently approved by, the Texas SHPO. There were no change orders on this project.
