Project# 0084.050 Victoria, Phase 2: National Register Multiple-Resource Nomination, Victoria, TX, 1984 - 1985

Following a comprehensive Historic Resources Survey undertaken by Victoria Preservation, Inc. in 1983-84, a methodical evaluation of the nearly 2,500 pre-1940 resources in Victoria was performed to identify those that met National Register standards. HHM identified 141 individual properties and one historic district eligible for National Register of Historic Places nominations. This report contains a narrative describing the physical and historical development of the city, survey forms and photographs for each site nominated, and written and photographic documentation for the historic district.
