Abstract HHM conducted a comprehensive survey of the central business district of Athens, Texas. The survey identified and documented 91 properties. The project was funded in part by Athens participation in the Texas Historical Commission’s Main Street Program, an effort to revitalize historic properties in downtown areas throughout the state.
