Abstract Architect Alfred Giles (1853-1920) was born in London and emigrated to the United States, starting his own practice in San Antonio in 1876. He opened a branch office in Monterrey, Mexico and extended into Northern Mexico, while maintaining his practice in Texas. Ludwig Weinman (1867-1945) was a German-born architect who practiced in Fort Worth, Texas and the surrounding area. The collection consists of working drawings representing Weinman's architectural designs produced between 1890 and 1929.
