Abstract
Wayne Bell is a historic preservation architect and a Professor Emeritus at The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture. In 1973, after working for the Texas State Historical Survey Committee and the Texas Parks and Wildlife department, Bell helped establish the master's degree in historical preservation program at the UT School of Architecture, one of only four in the country at the time.
