Opening ceremony and conversation with all participants in the Rethinking Power and Resistance Conference. Ghislaine “Tiger Lily” Mahone convened the conference with movement and voice. Paula X. Rojas (Mamas of Color Rising), Beliza Torres, and Katherine Craft (Conspire Theatre) led participants in a movement exercise. Andrea Zarate introduced the participatory nature of the conference, and Kristen Hogan and Rocío Villalobos introduced the conference with acknowledgements of the Conference’s sponsors.
