Interview with Issa Sesay, former General and interim leader of the RUF. He talks about the disarmament of the RUF. His bodyguards are at the DDR camp in Makeni going through the disarmament process. He talks about transforming to political party, and opening offices in Sierra Leone. They are preparing for the national election, and running Foday Sankoh for president. In response to a question about violence against women, he says that the RUF considers rape to be a very serious crime and that the RUF does not allow its men to commit rape. In regards to child combatants, he says that they did not use children to fight, but that they took care of and educated the children.
