Per Dawson: The girl was stolen. This is a typical Indian Hut.

From Dr. Roberto Lizarralde: A Venezuelan white man with young Guajira/Wayuu woman at a ranch in the souther Guajira. Was the woman stolen? I doubt it, since the Guajiro/Wayuu are very strict about marriage and require that a payment must be made to the girl's parents before being taken away. If not, no deal, and if she is stolen, bloody punishment is expected from the girl's clan
