Map_case OV

Aline Motta (b. 1974) is a multimedia artist based in São Paulo, Brazil. This collection contains 8 photographic prints by Motta from the 2023 exhibition, Social Fabric: Art and Activism in Contemporary Brazil (Steptember 23, 2022 - March 10, 2023) at the Visual Arts Center at UT Austin. Included are three prints from Pontes sobre Abismos (2017) series, three prints from (Outros) Fundamentos (2017-2019) series, and two prints from Se o mar tivesse varandas (2017) series.

Ani Ganzala (b. 1989) is a queer Afro-Brazilian visual artist, mother, activist, and macumbeira (practitioner of Afro-Brazilian religion) based in Bahia, Brazil. This collection includes two acrylic paintings on canvas: Caçadores andam em bando (2022), Oferenda (2022), and two works on paper: Sou lar (2024), Visibilidade Sapatão (2021).
