Bound folio of four poems by Léopold Sédar Senghor (1906-2001), the first president of Senegal and leader in the Négritude literary movement. Poems appear in French and English and are accompanied by six silk-screen prints by Lois Mailou Jones (1905-1998), visual artist and educator active during the Harlem Renaissance.
