Biographical Sketch
Dr. Campbell Dirck Keyser (1926-2011), a graduate of Princeton University and the Sorbonne, was a veteran of World War II and a long-time public servant in the Foreign Service, the Commerce Department, and the Treasury Department. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia after retirement, and taught at Virginia, Germana, Piedmont, Washington and Lee, and Mary Washington. His dissertation on Mexican president Portes Gil was published in Spanish translation asEmilio Portes Gill y la politica Mexicana (on the shelves at the Benson Collection at F 1356 P67 K49 2010).
