23 black-and-white photographic prints, 1985-1995, present scenes of African Latin Americans from Brazil (11) and Peru (12). The photographs are artistic as well as documentary, and show images of everyday life, labor, festival celebrations, and performing arts. The photographs are signed and dated on the reverse, and are part of Salcedo-Mitrani's portfolio "Africa's Legacy: Photographs in Brazil and Peru."
