Scope and Contents Note

This collection consists of 23 photographs of various churches, missions and associated landscapes and people in the Sierra Gorda region of Querétaro in Mexico. The photos were taken in the 1980's or before 1998 as the collection was donated to the Benson Latin American Collection in October of 1997.

Overall, the materials are in relatively good shape. The photos were framed and adhered to non-archival backing board material with double stick tape. They were removed from the frames and boards and are now interleaved with archival material. The items are loosely arranged by subject.
