Scope and Contents Note
The Carla Feldpausch Collection consists of approximately 1 linear foot. The collection is organized into three different series: Mexico, El Salvador, and Oversize Materials.
The Mexico series comprises nearly the entire collection. This series is arranged by type of material and wthin the type chronologically. Of note are interview transcripts and cassettes which document the UNAM Student Movement of 1987.
The El Salvador series consists of materials related to the Comité de Madres Oscar Arnulfo Romero.
The Oversize Materials series is arranged by subject matter and includes materials from the Consejo Estudantil Universitario at UNAM and the Comité de Madres Oscar Arnulfo Romero group of El Salvador.

Biographical Sketch
Carla Feldpausch was a graduate student in Economics and Latin American Studies at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina when she spent six months as a witness to the student movement at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1986-1987. Feldpausch spent six months in Mexico City interviewing students and documenting the movement. She wrote several articles related to the strike and gathered newspaper clippings and other publications documenting the movement.

Abstract
Collected materials and interviews documenting the student movement at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 1986-1987. Also included are some materials relating to El Salvador and Oscar Romero and the related Comité de Madres Oscar Arnulfo Romero group.
