The collection consists of 12 folders, totaling 0.25 linear feet. Original manuscript records from the Puebla de los Ángeles Cabildo from the years 1591-1593. Subjects include debts, taxes, census, dowries, testaments, cochinilla shipment, cattle sales, inheritance, commercial license, sale of Chinese goods, sale of grains, and other topics. Each record is described at the item level and contains a small paleography summary detailing the parties involved and the matter being addressed within the record. The extent of each record is also noted along with its original page numbers within the legajo or original bound format.
