Scope and Contents Note
The collection is organized in two series: 1) Comic Books and Collected Material and 2) Oversize Material.
Comic Books and Collected Material series includes several issues of El Peso Hero, an El Peso Hero coloring book, postcard and stickers. Notably the first edition of El Peso Hero Issue 1 is included in this series. The comic books are organized chronologically.
The Oversize Material series mainly includes posters of El Peso Hero comic book images from covers, Border Stories and other issues. The series includes a poster of El Peso Hero vs Trump, a Jack Kirby homage of the 1941 Captain America cover.

Biographical Sketch
Héctor Rodríguez III is an elementary school teacher in the Dallas, Texas area and the founder of Rio Bravo Comics, an independent comic book publisher. In 2011, Rodríguez created El Peso Hero a comic book about a superhero who helps people along the U.S.-Mexico border region. Ignacio, the real name of El Peso Hero (EPH), fights Mexican cartels, corrupt officials, and human traffickers. El Peso Hero is the flagship series of Rio Bravo Comics.
