Printed material and clippings on the Conferencia de Mujeres Por La Raza (Conference of Women for La Raza) held at the YWCA in Houston, 28-30 May 1971; and printed materials and clippings, 1971-1997 (bulk 1971-1975), on various political figures in Houston in the early 1970s as collected by Lucy R. Moreno. Mujeres Por La Raza materials (0.5 inches) include the official program, registration information, worksheets, lists of attendees, and clippings. Political figures represented in the collection (2.0 inches) include Houston Comptroller Leonel Castillo, Ben T. Reyes, and Fred Hofheinz among others.
