Erasing Borders: Helping Latinos Overcome Barriers Through Higher Education Conference (UT Austin), 2005 April 1-2

The purpose of the conference was to educate Latino students about college. Students from Dobie Middle School, McCallum High School, and from River City Youth Foundation, a local non-profit youth organization and technology center based in southeast Austin. Includes content in English and Spanish. Conference Organzied by Longhorn LULAC Council No. 4799. Workshop speakers from the Hispanic Scholarship Fund – UT Chapter, Multicultural Information Center, and the Gender and Sexuality Center included Ana Yanez-Corrrea, Jennifer Najera, Dr. Glendelia Zavala, David Rice, Albesa (Abby) Vela, Laura Sauceda, and Elvira Prieto.
