This subseries contains surveys conducted in California and Texas. The locations from California include the neighborhoods of El Monte, Lincoln Heights, Wilmington, Pico Union, and Brooklyn Heights in Los Angeles; Chula Vista; San Bernardino; San Jose; and San Ysidro in San Diego. The locations from Texas include the cities of Brownsville, Edcouch, Edinburg, Harlingen, Houston, McAllen, Mercedes, Pharr, San Antonio, and Weslaco. The cities of Brownsville, Edcouch, Edinburg, Harlingen, McAllen, Mercedes, Pharr, and Weslaco are all located in Texas's Rio Grande Valley.
