Ruth García Barna de del Puerto

Ruth G. Barna de del Puerto was elected in the 1978 Fort Worth, Texas Convention, re-elected in the 1980 Acapulco, Guerrero Convention; served 1978-1982. She also served as Alliance Parliamentarian during Helena T.M. Richards' tenure (1986-1988). Del Puerto was part of theConsejo Consultivo, an advisory committee of the National Association of Mexico (Asociación Nacional de Mesas Redondas Panamericanas de la República Mexicana).

Some files documenting Director General del Puerto were kept by Dee Cole. Ms. Cole held different positions in the Alliance including Revisions Committee Chairman (1980-1982), Resolutions Commmittee member (1982-1984), twice as Zone I Director (1984-1986, 1986-1988), and Editorial Committee Chairman (1988-1990). Files from Ms. Cole are noted below.
