Segment #2 Commentary: LA PALOMA

Culture Clash is part of an artistic expression trend that began as a means for Latinos to express their quest for civil rights through performance. The groundbreaking work of groups like Teatro Campesino in Los Angeles and the Nuyorican poets' café in New York gave an inspiration to the current generation of performance artists. New Yorker George Sanchez is one such artist. On a recent ride on the subway, another passenger inspired some personal reflections. (4:02)

Segment #3 AMERICAN MIGRATION TO MEXICO

While America talks of building a fence on the U.S.-Mexico border, hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizens are heading south of the border to spend their twilight years. According to the Mexican tourism board, about 700 thousand Americans are choosing to retire in Mexico where they can buy property, start businesses, get affordable healthcare and live an easier lifestyle. And many are living for decades on a tourist visa. Independent producer Dmae Roberts recently went to the Lake Chapala region just outside of Guadalajara, Mexico. (6:59)
