Segment #3 EXPRESS BAPTISMS

On Olvera Street in downtown LA sits the oldest mission church where every Saturday hundreds of Latin immigrants make a pilgrimage to baptize their children. The church of Our Lady The Queen of the Angels baptizes 50 babies an hour and more than 300 babies every weekend. For immigrants who work long hours the draw is simple: the mission doesn't require parents to take classes beforehand like most churches. Contributor Abel Salas calls it the 'McDonalds of Baptism.'
