In 1994, discontent with the democrats helped sweep republicans to majority control of congress. Resulting with the conservative 'Contract with America.' But like many Americans, Latino voters unhappy with republican policy overwhelmingly voted for democrats in the midterm elections this past November. Recently, Latino USA's Patricia Guadalupe spoke to the new Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid of Nevada to discuss his party's legislative plans and how Latinos could be affected. (4:16)
