This week marked the sixth anniversary of the Latina-organized Marchia de las Novias, the annual New York City Brides March against domestic violence. Each year, scores of Latina women don wedding dresses, and flanked by Latino men dressed in black, march through the streets of Washington Heights to Spanish Harlem.
