In Chile's northern Andes, mining giant Barrick Gold recently won approval from Chile's corporation for the environment to construct a massive gold mine. But the controversial 1.5 billion dollar project-dubbed 'Pascua Lama'-is opposed by local environmental groups. An email campaign has also sparked the ire of Barrick officials. Latino USA contributor Jen Ross reports from the Huasco valley, where the mine will be built. (5:23)
