Segment #2: PUERTO RICAN TEACHERS IN FLORIDA

On May 1St, the governor of Puerto Rico announced that the island had run out of money. The government shutdown led to the layoffs of thousands of civil servants, including school teachers. Now the government resolved the crisis and many teachers are back at work, but some are leaving the island due to an aggressive recruitment campaign for teachers in Orlando, Florida (2:53)

Segment #3: HIV CRISIS IN TIJUANA

The sprawling city of Tijuana, Mexico may be emerging as a hotspot for HIV infection. New research suggests that as many as one in every 125 Tijuana residents ages 15 to 49 could be infected. KPBS' Kenny Goldberg reports on the growing fears of an epidemic on the border. (3:56)

San Francisco-based La Plebe is not your typical punk rock band. For starters, they have a horn section.
