Segment #1: MINUTEMAN RALLY IN D.C.

Immigration is a controversial issue across the nation, and moderate voices seem to be drowned out by extreme views on both sides of the debate. And on the same week that the Senate was set to start discussing a bipartisan bill that would set up a program to help with jobs for undocumented workers, a self-styled civilian patrol group from Arizona sponsored a rally in Washington to lobby against it. Latino USA's Patricia Guadalupe has more from the Nation's capital. (3:10)

Segment #2: HAITI ELECTION

In Haiti, people flocked to the polls in elections that may be crucial to keep the country from sliding into a chaos of violence and dire poverty. Haitians have been waiting to freely choose their leader ever since elected president Jean-Bertrand Aristide was forced from office in a violent coup two years ago. Reed Lindsay has our report from Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. (2:41)

Segment #3: FUJIMORI EXTRADICTION

Alberto Fujimori ruled Peru for 10 years before fleeing the country in disgrace. In the year 2000, his government crumbled in a corruption scandal, and Fujimori escaped to Japan-a country that has refused Peru's requests to extradite him. From his safe haven in Japan, Fujimori continued to insist he'd be back to reclaim the presidency. In November, Fujimori must have felt the time was right....he got on a plane and flew to Santiago, Chile, where he checked into a hotel, and was promptly arrested. Now, the wheels of South American justice are turning...Fujimori's fate hangs in the balance...as Chile's Supreme Court decides whether he'll be sent back home to Peru, where he faces 21 charges of corruption and murder. Segment #4: RAY BARRETTO 2-WAY

Ray Barretto changed the sound of Jazz music with the beat of a conga drum....as a jazz musician, Barretto worked with some of the biggest names in the business in the 1950s and 60s, and then turned to Latin music, helping to form what many today call Latin Jazz. The 76 year-old jazz master has made lasting impressions with fans and fellow musicians. In recent weeks, Barretto has undergone heart bypass surgery, and the Barretto family has been inundated with the prayers of well wishers and the appreciation of generations of musical fans. As this program goes to air, Barretto's condition has been downgraded to critical. I had the opportunity to speak with Barretto in 2002. Here's an extended excerpt from that interview.
