Segment #1: MILITARY RECRUITING

As the war in Iraq grinds on, the United States military is finding it harder to attract new recruits. Both Congress and the military have expressed concerns that if recruitment efforts are not stepped up, the all-volunteer army could face serious manpower shortages in the future. As military recruiting strategy evolves, more money is being spent on a sophisticated marketing campaign aimed at Latinos. And San Antonio, Texas, a military town with a Latino population of around 60 percent, is one of the nation's hottest recruiting grounds. Latino USA's Adam Saytanides brings us this report from San Antonio, where the campaign to enlist young Latinos is moving full steam ahead. (6:57)
